Dr. Larsen is a 1987 graduate of Michigan State University School of Veterinary Medicine. She started working parttime at Animal Medical Clinic in 1988 and went fulltime in 1995. Dr. Larsen has an energetic daughter, Elizabeth Rose, born in May of 2004, they have one dog (Ellie May) and one cat named "Jasmine".

Dr. Carender is a 2003 graduate of the University of Illinois. She grew up in Connecticut and went to the University of Rhode Island for undergrad. Dr. Carender came to Arkansas for a visit, met her future husband, got married, and never left. She has recently had a son, Nikolas. She and her husband also have 1 cat, Mango. She enjoys traveling to the beach, biking, tennis, and spending time with her family.
